Zoe Chronis uses defective video equipment and in-camera editing to record her daily life, blurring the boundary between intention and chance. Her work has found an audience through platforms and collectives such as Film Diary NYC, Dizzy TV, Lino Kino, Caesura Magazine, Analog Cookbook, and Peripheries Experimental FIlm & Video Festival. From 2014–2022 she worked for community media organizations in New York. She received a fellowship at The American Academy in Rome in 2012 and has attended residencies in Finland and in Iceland, where she lives currently.
