Zoe Chronis is an artist whose work includes public action, video, film, drawing, and printed matter. She has constructed solar balloons to distribute leaflets by air; installed a commemorative plaque at the location of a 1967 university sit-in; and filmed hand-lettered title cards based on early cinema conventions. Zoe holds a BA in Anthropology and Film from Vassar College and a MFA in Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2012 she received a fellowship at The American Academy in Rome and in 2019 participated in a residency for text-based art in Hämeenkyrö, Finland.
She currently works for public access television in Brooklyn, NY.
