Zoe Chronis uses DV camcorders, defective video equipment, and in-camera editing to record everyday life,  making room for technical error. Her work has been featured in publications and screenings such as Film Diary NYC, Dizzy TV, Lino Kino, Caesura Magazine, Analog Cookbook, Light Matter Film Festival, and Peripheries Experimental Film & Video Festival. Before moving to Iceland she worked many years for community media in New York. She received a fellowship from The American Academy in Rome & PennDesign, where  she received an MFA in Visual Art. She has attended residencies in Finland, Iceland, and most recently at Künstlerhaus Lukas as a scholarship resident.
